Description
This Pinot Noir varietal thrives in the Russian River Valley where cool coastal fog migrates inland along river valley pathways. the soil type is ideal as well: the groundwork for our hillside vineyard was literally laid down eons ago when volvanic ash and bed rock produced sandstone loam now known as "Goldridge soil."Partial whole cluster fermentation adds complex herbal notes to the wine's opulent cherry, raspberry and French vanilla aromas and flavors. This is 100% Pinot Noir aged for almost one year in new French oak.
