The Alejandro Fernández Dehesa La Granja has a beautiful dark cherry red color in the glass with a garnet red ring. Warm and aromatic in the nose with clean nuances of toasted wood, black and red fruit and a hint of spices. In the mouth, full, round and mild, well balanced between the ripe fruit and the tannins of the wood, with a hint of sultry vanilla in the long and lingering finish. The Dehesa Granja has been specially selected for 24 months in American oak barrels and allowed to mature with a fine grain. The Dehesa Granja is a wine with an excellent price/quality ratio and is an excellent accompaniment to roasted or grilled lamb, red meat, game and matured hard cheeses, especially the local raw milk sheep cheese zamorano!.
