Description
From 30 year old Tempranillo vines located in Ãbalos and San Vicente de la Sonsierra in the upper realms of the Rioja region. Clay and limestone soils dominate the region and this is ideal for wines of longevity. The grapes were destemmed and fermented in tank. The wine was aged in American and French oak for two years and then for another year in bottle.
