Description
From eco-friendly producers Château Philippe Le Hardi, Chassagne Montrachet Blanc is an exemplar of what they can offer in their white wines. Chardonnay grapes are harvested from the well-drained limestone soil of the southeast-facing slopes and gently pressed pneumatically. Fermentation then takes place in French oak barrels, followed by maturation on lees for a period of twelve of 12 months with occasional batonnage.
