Masuret Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore San Boldo Brut is an elegant and complex sparkling wine produced by the the Marsura family, whose local nickname is Marsuret. They have a long tradition of producing wine in the Valdobiaddene hills and they own 111 acres of vineyards that are found scattered throughout the most prestigious areas of the DOCG. The Glera grapes are harvested manually from each vineyard site. The fresh mountain air from the San Boldo pass comes down to the vineyards and slows down the ripening process. This gives the grapes an acerbic quality that makes them ideal for producing Brut. The bouquet is delicate and lightly aromatic with an elegant complexity reminiscent of golden apples. With hints of wild flowers, the flavour is intense, dry and fresh. This wine has a fine and persistent perlage. Ideal as an aperitif and perfect with all kinds of fish dishes.
