This bottling of 100% Sauvignon Blanc hails from the three acre, dry farmed Totem Estate in Yountville. The Totem Estate is part of the original Inglenook Vineyards and its soils carry the wisdom of six generations of family dedication It is made Graves-style by fermenting and aging in 100% new French oak barrels for 18 months.Â
Aromatically the wine has ripe peaches and pears, alongside white pepper, dill, and honeysuckle. On the palate the wine is medium to nearly full bodied with layers upon layers and spiciness and orchard fruit, and a refreshingly finish of chalky minerality.Â
