With vineyards that border those of the iconic Château d`Yquem, Château Rieussec has long been considered amongst Sauternes’ best. Harvests last for 6 to 8 weeks with selective pickings depending on the ripeness of the grapes and evolution of noble rot.
Fermented in barrels and aged for 16 to 26 months in oak barrel, of which 50% is new. Aromas of honey, pastry and marmelade. Medium-bodied with a great acidity and a really long finish.
