Description
When we think of Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, we typically think of Expensive, very fancy Chardonnay, as in the likes of Marcassin, Wayfarer, and Kistler. But this cold, windswept coast of California is also home to some impeccable Chardonnay bargains that will please both the aficionado and the casual Chardonnay enthusiast. Amici’s 2017 wine is a prime example, a wine that delivers the pleasure of a $50 bottle at about half the price. James Suckling loved the wine’s “Sliced apples, pears and lightly toasted oak on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, layered and juicy. Lovely, delicious finish.†Jeb Dunnuck Called it “A smoking value… [with] exotic notes of tart citrus, lychee, and hints of minerality as well as a medium-bodied, balanced, lively style on the palate.†A case of this beauty ships free from Napa Valley! That’s enough to keep cold and glistening in the ice bucket all summer long. Or at least a few weeks!
